Innovation is our culture.
Our technologies offer unprecedented opportunities, in instantaneous environments, for teaching and learning. Through interaction with colleagues and experts, exposure to effective strategies and important content knowledge and skills, our project also includes several tools for teachers. The learning communities within our projects are designed for educators to communicate and collaborate with colleagues around the world. Here educators can share best practice, discuss issues and create networks of support. The Curriculum Mapping Tool empowers organizations to input their curriculum and build customized curriculum maps which teachers can further personalize and share with parents, students and colleagues.
While there are many independent education sites that provide resources, curriculum mapping, or website creators, there is no other project that brings all of these things together as well as incorporates standards, resources and tools for teachers in one central, systemic portal that is accessible to teachers, administrators, parents and students.
